I keep repeating my self: My obsession with Blue and White Stripes Part 1



In High school and College I was all about this....


All grown up, goin' to work and I bought a shirt (or two or three) like this...


I married a man who has about a dozen shirts like this...
Due to an unbelievable price tag I recently ended up with this...


And now I really really really WANT this...

Even though I already have all this...


HELP!!!




Oh and I'm just talking about vertical blue and whites. Navy and white sailor stripes will have to be saved for another day.


Do you ever do this????

    I am dying here! I have had a post drafted and ready in my archives that is basically the exact same post. I share your sickness! It's cracking me up. I thought I was the only one...

    And yes, I browsed around Anthro.com last night and loved the same dress, although it would be a micro mini on me. I also liked that menswearish strapless top that they showed in the catalog paired with the white sailor trousers. Only I don't really "do" strapless. ;)

    My dad has this EXACT same shirt that whenever I see it elsewhere it always reminds me of him. It's such a classic style -- and I love the anthro dress. you can never have too many!

    yes, I've been OBSESSING over that tunic from anthropologie for months now. I'm so gaga. I think I might just bite the bullet at some point and buy the dang thing!

    I counted today and I have a total of 13 striped shirts of various kinds -- so indulge in the stripes all that you want!!

    That JCrew look is just perfection. They always put together the best looks.

    I am right with you. I am in love with stripes. Of course no surprise sinceI love all things nautical, but it is nice to shop for such simple and fun pieces such as these. I agree with you BOOO to anthro for the price.
